2007 Hunting Season Dates

Choose your hunting season in Game Management Unit 66 (limited) or 65 & 64 (unlimited)

Archery
Deer/Elk	August 25 - September 23 (30 Days)

Black Powder Rifle
Deer/Elk	September 8 - September 16 (9 days)

Rifle
1st Rifle - Separate Limited Elk	October 13 - October 17 (5 days)
2nd Rifle - Combined Deer/Elk	October 20 - October 28 (9 days)
3rd Rifle - Combined Deer/Elk	November 3 - November 9 (7 days)
4th Rifle - Separate Limited Elk	November 14 - November 18 (5 days)
If you plan to hunt both deer and elk in a combined season, animals may be hunted in separate seasons.

Black Bear
Limited (By Drawing Only)	September 2 - September 30

Black Powder	September 8 - September 16
Rifle	Concurrent with Combined Seasons
To participate in the unlimited bear seasons, a hunter must also hold a valid deer or elk license for the same unit and season.

Limited License Drawing - Deadline for application April 4, 2007

NOTE: All deer licenses by drawing only.

GMU Area 66 is limited all draw, points required.

GMU Area 65 is limited draw for cow elk, first and fourth rifle elk, second and third rifle bull elk over the counter.

Elk must have 4 points or better on one antler, or a 5 inch brow tine

No antler point restriction on mule deer. Minimum antler length is 5 inches

Include an additional $3.00 application fee for drawing licenses.

Please Be Advised!

"Any hunts booked after January 1, 2007 will require a separate $200 reservation fee to lock in your package price and to ensure you a roll-over package in the event you do not draw a license in the year you reserve your hunt and you have to roll over into another year. Specific camps can not be guaranteed to roll over year to year unless it is open at the time you need to re-book. If your hunt is reserved during the current year, and you are successful in obtaining your license, the $200 will be applied to your deposit. Please be aware that we operate on a 'first-come-first-serve basis' and reservations will be applied by post mark dates."
